WOW! I personally never thought that this was possible, even though I don't think it's a hybrid of these two species it's deff something I would buy.

In spite of it's possible short-comings, the hobby has been in dire need of miniature Oscars as long as there have been Oscars. These stumpy O's could solve soooo many overstocking problems and still be 'Oscary' for the enthusiast. I almost want one, and if I only had a 55g to work with, I WOULD want one. I doubt they would reach more than seven or eight inches, if they live.

busy this whole day, tomorrow i will move them temporary to aquarium to take pic of them......
these guys are very very healthy, with great skill of death pretending, they can rotating like they were dying, but suddenly move fast when you try to catch them. they can show you their eyes with no life in it.... they are not fugly, they are gorgeous !!
