Well i decided those were the fish i wanted to raise so i started looking for sexually mature broodstock. Oregon dept of Fish and Game ODFW, told me that there was only one person left in the state that owned legal sexually mature fish. I called him and he said it would be impossible to get ODFW to let the fish leave his property alive. So i made a deal with him to purchase all the females and 5 males for a very low price, basically wholesale meat prices, I also agreed to pay him 10 bucks a month per fish to keep them until i got permission to move them. It took a few months(i had already been working on getting rules changed for a year) and i finally called my state representative who helped convince ODFW it was a good idea and to allow it to move forward so here we are
