MY PETCO RED TEXAS GREW A FLOWER LOL

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
He's just implying that the tank isn't big enough to house that flower horn. Cool it no need to get pissed off at him. Its not just him implying that because a few post before that he was hollering about my dirty glass and my water quality wich is fine. That i need to clean my tank, also on another of my post with smart comments. Im a grown man i can keep my fish however i choose. All my fish are fine and when did a 10 gallon become to small for a 2 inch flowerhorn cut it out

Sent from my iPad using MonsterAquariaNetwork app
he seems to have the problem not me

No need for all that. He is only here to hlep.
The tank could do with a clean though
Post wasnt asking for help dont need any just showing a fish. If i wanted the tank clean it would be but its my tank and i choose to keep it like that. Its nothing but a 10 gallon holding tank that i start growing baby fish in. Can pull a algea eater out one of my other tanks if i thought it was a problem. Water parameters are all that matter and they are fine.

I agree ppl don't need to assume here... I work in a pet store so I have to assume ppl don't know what they're doing there, but we're on a fish forum for god's sake...

Anyways I have noticed too the easiest way to raise flowerhorn is in small tanks sequestered. If I had enough filters or a big compressor I'd grow out all my fh juvies in tens until they got 5 ins or so, then move em to 20's until they get a nice selling size. I don't though so I keep em in groups. Ime when you keep the tanks clean basically keeping fh like bettas is the best way to do it... I have more losses and problems keeping em in big tanks because they form territories. If they have a small tank they own it end of discussion.

I do think it was presumptuous to assume he was intending on keeping that fh in the 10 its whole life. Most people who keep cichlids seriously know to keep extra tank space just in case theres a problem

well said and from the looks of it all the big fh breeders in thailand n stuff grow their fh out in small or divided tanks

The tank is small so is the fish got pleanty of room for him if i decide to keep him. Dont really care what happens to the parrot. :naughty:

How responsible.

Dont need your luck been raising fish 20+ years. Also have pleanty of large tanks if i choose to keep this fish i raise all my fish in small tanks and raise them up as they grow. You seem to have a lot of problems with my fish. I got a empty 240 8x2x2 should i put my 2 and a half in flowerhorn in there to make you happy. Good luck with being a hater.
