ideaconcepts thanx for the pix. hes outstanding. kinda looks a lttle more midas than devil. beautiful fish.

I'm hoping to place him in a 240gal with some P-bass, possibly a Jardini Aro or a Leich Aro, in the next month or so, soon as I can get a 240gal. The tank he is currently is big, but won't be replacing it until next year at the earliest.

My RD wont eat market shrimp either. He eats shrimp based foods but not the shrimp themselves. I guess i'll try not feeding him for a couple days and see if he'll eat them. When he's hungry he splashes me when I walk by so Ill have to put the lid on.
Incidnetally my gold fish and pleco love the shrimp and it is doing wonders for them.
I believe my RD is male but Im not 100% sure. I dont know how or what exactly "venting" is. He does alot of digging and will move all the gravel in the tank to the front and then hang out behind the berm. He even counts the snails as rocks and moves them every chance he gets. He is about 8" long. I will get some pictures soon if that will help. The only decent one I could get with my camera through acryllic is the one in my avatar.

hey guys thanx for the heads up on the cyclopeze. found some small pellets at pet smart. can see a differance in my devil all ready.
