nice one.....real cute

sweet lookin turtle i wish i had one...uhh drooooolll

i remeber when mine were that size.... i want more :)

well i recon you didnt do enought resurch before you went out and got the FRT for a start its much safer to keep one per tank as they WILL start to bite each others shell

and when they get to about 7-8inch they will start to kill fish for fun they projuce a lot of waste and will polute the water very very badly

they look cute when small but turn into fish killers

i kept one for about 18 months and got it at the same size as yours the pic show the size of it after 18 months

FRT are a long turm comitment and i hope you are prepared to take good care of it for 50yrs +

give it time they will what size are they now ?

whats the point in keeping 2 anyway do you have a beach next to your tank to lay their eggs i dont think so so theirs no chance of breeding them

when small they mainly eat veg or algue waffers but they will start to take meat

they are sly little ****s they will just swim around looking cool then bang they have a fish in their mouth ripping it to bits

7" shell..... had them for about 2 years

there was a time when i owned 5 frt's... one of the 5 was aggressive... would bite my finger when i held her.... she would eat goldfish minnows etc..... she died whilt i was away ... i wish i still had her
