my plywood tank frame! (with pics)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i have half filled my tank and its holding water goin to fill the rest now and then post pics, none of the tank has been primed yet tho so looks a bit rough, will post pics in hour or so,

the light fixture fixture is really creative. i liiiike. the stand is really heavy duty. it looks like it can support a tank double that size. keep up the good work and dont forget to post lots of pics.

going to post a stack of pics when its finally done, the tank is completely full and no leaks or bending timber to be seen, the acrylic is magnifying the inside of the tank aswell which is cool, the only problem is that i will have to empty the tank to get it where it is going as had to move it away from the wall to check if it leaked at all!

thanks for the comments, just fiddling with the tank a bit got a plastic trim going round the top rail on the inside in white colour to reflect the light, into the tank and then going to fill the light frame with wood filler and sand it down when dry,
got my fx5 coming tomoz,
just setup my old fluval cycling the tank now, hopefully fish in on sunday!

ps Bigcol nice stand!
