My poor midas

Just found my midas jammed under a piece of driftwood. When I lifted it this is what I found. Does this look like any type of disease or did he just take a beating? Only other fish that shows any signs is the royal pleco with some shredded fins. Only one in there with any real attitude is the leporinus. Any ideas?

Was he STUCK under the driftwood, or just hiding? :confused:

It could be a disease, but to me it looks like he got torn up by something.
I hope you quarantine him, because if it's NOT infected yet there's a large likelyhood that it will be soon.
 
More a case of hiding. Yes I quarantined him.
 
looks like he got beat up doesnt look like fin rot or anything
 
Oh poor boy..what did he do??
 
Of course you know to turn the temp up add some salt and maybe melfix or pimafix.

Best guess is he stuck his nose where it didn't belong. Just need to figure out who the culprit is.

Already done all the above but thanks for the reminder, never know when you might forget something simple.

I hope the other guy is okay...i am sure midas will be okay with time out..

That's the problem. With the exception of the pleco nobody shows signs of battle.
