Hey guys i havnt posted on here for a bit now to update my grow outs so i decided to make a new thread about it. Currently i have a couple of hydor 3200gph circ pumps, 1x hydor 2400 circ pump and a cobalt 1400 for circulation with 400gal worth of air pumps hooked up to the upper 2 circ pumps giving my tank the white water effect.

I have been trying all kinds of fish together with my 2 main fish, my gatf and my tigrinus catfish. Some have worked and some havnt. Everything in my tank is eating hikari Jumbo Carnistix or Hikari Massivore pellets. Heres a list of my current stock with their sizes.

1x Gatf - got him at 3.5" in the end of march and now is 8.5" and fat
1x Tigrinus Catfish - Got him about june at 12" and now is 14"+
1x Yellowtail Barracuda - got him about 2 weeks ago and finally broke him onto pellets yesterday. hes 8"
1x Ripsaw Catfish - got him in march at 5" and now is 8"+
1x Flagtail Prochilodus - got him in june at 5" now is 7"
1x Banded Archerfish - yes i know hes brackish... but hes doing just fine in the fresh water. got him in august and is about 5"
5x Geophagus Altifrons - got the group in august ranging in size from 3"-5"
1x Satanoperca Daemon - got him with the other geos and bout 4"
1x Satanoperca Jurupari - got him with the other geos and about 5"
2x Lemonfin Barbs - got them about march at 2" and are now about 4"

I have had no aggression issues between the cuda and gatf if you guys are wondering. When i introduced the cuda, the gatf started lunging at him and ramming him but i think this was to show dominance in the tank. now they swim side by side 75% of the time. also The tigrinus has still yet to eat anything on me. i use to have a 1.5" tinfoil barb in there just as a warning fish to make sure nothing was going to happen. i figured if someone got hungry he would be the first to go. he grew out to 2.5" and i gave it away.

heres the pics!

Thanks man. its taken me forever to figure out what all works together. a lot of damage to other fish and a ton of headaches for myself. but I personally love it. i know some of those guys will grow out and ill need to sell them but for now i wouldnt change it. well maybe the archer and the barbs... but besides that i wouldnt change it lol.

Looking good! That tig has some really interesting stripes. I've never seen one with the stripes leaning forward like that. He looks good! :D

Im digging that 'cuda, too. I can't believe you found one for sale at 8"! Color me jealous. :p

Very good looking tank man. Very well done.

Wow, that is a fantastic tank. That goliath looks very healthy and I absolutely love the tigrinus. You can also put me down as being jealous of finding a cuda at that size.

I dont use substrate cuz I prefer perfect water quality over not so perfect. Gravel is tough to keep clean in a big tank and with the amount of current I have sand doesnt stay on the bottom. Yea I couldnt believe I found one at that size. Bought it as soon as I saw it. I just cant believe its eatin pellets already. I also dont use decorations cuz I like my gatfs face the way it is. When its feeding time he goes absolutly nuts.
