I dont feel that growing fish out and selling them is a bad thing. Certain fish especially skiddish predators have almost no chance to get shipped over here from africa or brazil. The chance to get a live gatf here from africa is extremely slim. This is why I grow mine out to sell. Some people dont have grow out tanks and in order to get the fish they want they need a large specimen. If people see this as a problem please tell me why. Im not looking to make a fortune off my fish like some people. I do it for the hobby. And I always sell my fish before they are too big for my tank.

Dithers. Lots of them. My predators watch the other fish eat then once they r hungry enough theyll eat.

I got mine for 35. And thanks. Id say try to find one for 50 or less. I know a few spots in the gta that have them for 40 and under.
Nope mine has to compete with the tigrinus for food so as soon as the pellets hit the water the 2 catfish go crazy. I think regular feeding times really helps the fish become more active during the day. Also he doesnt have a hiding spot.
Mine does so hes never out. I just leave some sinking pellets for him before bed, and he eats them overnight
Pretty awesome tanks man!! im surprised there arent problems with that big cat in with the satanoperca. Id throw some substrate in there for the eartheaters to sift though, im sure that will lessen their stress level if they can enact their natural routines. thats awesome that cat doesnt eat em though!
