thanks peter, they looks so cool. they max out at like 5" correct? Did you ever notice if they grew slow? it seem to grow very slow.

I really can't wait for mine to get bigger, they are already cute and showing the sparkles on the side.

I was wondering if anyone else beside me and peter/ken have/has these?

They look good! I saved a few to grow out myself too. Take good care of them!



Actually they may be an undescribed species. The adults don't look like G. stergiosi at all. I'm very interested in following the developmental process to see how the later bar/spot/blotch changes.

i will do, they are so cute. i am currently working on getting another tank for them and some notatus fry from ryan. i should have them in another tank within another month.

very cool, i like them so much. Did you notice if they were slow growers? they max out at 5", correct? how do you sex them?

They probably just haven't hit the spurt yet. Males are bigger than females with pointier fins.....if all else fails there's always venting

I think they are getting close to their growth spurt, the biggest one is starting to grow pretty fast.

here is there new tank, its in storage garage for right now. because i don't have room in the house. it's a 135g tank and a homeade stand that i got for $100, i need to clean the tank, paint the back black, paint the pvc black, stain the stand, make some lids, get lights, pump, heater and pvc (already have a spare sump casing).
