My rarest import ever! Leptobotia elongata!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
here are some pictures from the supplier. our own pictures are being uploaded as we speak. please do not confuse these with the smaller species Leptobotia pelligrini, they come from different regions and the size is much different, a totally different species that many people in the past thought was Leptobotia elongata.

Let me here present to you, Leptobotia elongata, the Imperial flower loach, that is what the locals call it, translated into Chinese.

We have some 2" specimens that are eating blood worms, they can live in 50 degree water up to 80 degree water, as it is in the wild right now. These look like a juvenile tigrinis catfish, with slight to little patterns on them, but at 3" they'll show bars already, and should be able to reach that size very fast. $250.00 each

We also have exclusively a handful of large specimens 8-9", which are showing very nice colors and beggining to have striations, rosettes and mosaics developing throughout the body. please email for details, to qualified buyers only

Already got my 300gal next to my bed, ready and waiting. :)

Wes ~

How hard are these fish to keep? Any special requirements? Are they like Bagarius and need cooler waters? Any special params we should know about? If I were to get some, and they are as cool as you say they are, I would happily dedicate a tank or three to them. :)

I have a gut feeling though that these fish are only gonna be affordable by people who make six figure incomes. LoL
