Wow Congrats opn teh awesome fish wes!!! I just read it all from page one... and my internet is so slow tonight I am not sure whats going on took me over an hour to read this lol .... so addictive I could not stop reading it lol ..

Anyone that bought any of these awesome fish have any updates ... PICS would be great !!! I am sure by the time I am set up for something like those guys they will all be gone I hope everyone keeps us updated

Oh wow Leptobotia Elongata. Just not long ago I was trying to find this botia the so called the holy grail of the botias. Congratulation. I hope i can find some on the market. Its hard to find rare fishes like that in Indonesia.

that's probably as annoying as it gets. i've emailed him and no reply. I hate it when people claim to have this fish or that and cannot prove it. and go on saying that this fish is not rare., show me another one!

I think it's just as annoying when someone claims that they have the only fish in captivity in the world. No one is saying the fish isn't rare and it's a cool fish and such, but most likely other people have them. What about the sourounding countries that are closer to the source? Wouldn't it be much easier for them to obtain them? How about the locals or people that live in the same country? Maybe the only one's in California or in the US and that too is a big claim because not everyone posts on the internet and there's no way to prove it. How about just calling it a cool rare fish? I have kept the Korean perch many times in the 80's and you didn't believe me. I even showed you a picture and you still didn't believe me. So whats your deal?

Having said that, this is a very rare fish, because I have never seen one in the aquaria in the 25 years I have been collecting, so props to you Wes on a great import.
