Last week I had four rays. Now I'm down to two. I'm pretty sure that I'll be down to one soon. I am so depressed and dejected.
It all started about 10 days ago when a female leo went on a hunger strike. I kept up with regular water changes and hoped it would turn around, but she started to curl and died on Monday afternoon. Everyone else seemed fine, so I wasn't terribly concerned.
By the next day my male leo-hen and female pearl weren't eating. Last night the leo-hen started to curl. It was dead this morning. The pearl isn't curling but also still isn't eating. The only ray that's eating is a small leo-hen, but he's also spending most of his time buried in the sand.
I've only been keeping fish for about five years and nothing like this has ever happened to me before. It really, really sucks. I couldn't really afford these fish to begin with and I sure as hell can't afford replacing them.
[I'm not even looking for advice because I've pretty much read it all. Ammonia and nitrite are at 0... nitrates are a bit high, but they always have been on this tank. If anyone has any bold suggestions, I'm all ears, but I don't see this ending well.]
