Finished the plumbing and the actual sump itself.
Then i found out that canisters use gravity to siphon water downwards into the actual canister and just pump it back out. I tried to life up the sump, and i cut the PVC outlet that drained into it shorter so it would have room. Cut it a 1/4 inch too short and now the elbow doesnt connect properly.
That was last night... I was reeeaaaaallly pissed at the laws of physics for that one.... But i got to practice my punches by breaking some boards in anger so that was fun at least, bruises left over arent so much...
Either going to get a powerhead to pump up through the canister, or just use a canister hose with a powerhead (im really low on $ right now so im a bit out of options) or just leave it for now after i redid the whole tank... Either way im getting a good, 700 gph pump this summer.
Ugh... Anyways, the fish bit me for the first time while i was installing all this. I turned my hand at the last second and he didnt really get me, but he came around again and again... Im scared now
