LOL its so funny talking to my mom about fish related topics. I left the live rock out exposed to air for a while to make sure any hitchhikers dont get in. She was like oh dont do that you'll kill the rock! And i was like ughh the rock isnt alive, and the tank is cycled, we dont need any more bacteria. She was like NOO!! I must put in back in! So i put it in, shoulda been long enough anyways.
Your tank is cycling*... Not nearly completely cycled yet.

Im referring to aerobic bacteria as in ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates. I dont have any ammonia or nitrites so in this area alone, yes imo my tank is totally cycled.
You may need some new tests because after only a month, it's not gone yet.

My test kit was purchased less than 2 months ago with a best by july 2016 date on it. Barely a month.
SURPRISE! I just finished installing the tunze 9002 and WOW! It is quiet i cant even hear the tank anymore. I found that hitchhiker porcelain crab! He survived the initial setup back in december and had been hiding in the back of the tank this whole time! Also the skimmer is producing tons of foam and very minimal microbubbles (pretty much zero bubbles) and its been less than 5 minutes of operation!
