my red-tail cat fish

 • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
my 210 pumps that much...

Excellent! That helps tremendously to keep the water pristine, which is a huge factor in their comfort and good growth.

... she will shake back and forth when she dont wont food and left in the tank she pushes it to the corner by the filter

Very interesting - a video of this happening would be nice and can get us on the same page too.

i did remeasured and she 15 inches sorry i was wrong.

Well, from 3" to 15" that still is 5" a month for 2.5 months. If you insist this is what it is, then this must be a new, unheard of record! Cool! I wonder if your fish is having back-to-back humangous growth spurts. Please keep updating us on how she will continue to grow. You got our attention for sure :)

I personally would not feed them foods of non-aquatic origin (except for pellets). Many do and report good results. The bad player is fat, which, having come from a warm-blooded animal, turns solid in a cold-blooded animal and largely indigestable.

here is the video see she shakes back and forth when shes not hungey

Nice. Thanks. I don't think she is "shaking head" :) I think she is torn between swimming away and staying in the cave so she sways back and forth to back up, as if thinking "I'd like to swim away but there is a wall to the right and a wall to the left... so I am gonna back up a bit but I cannot swim backwards so I will have to sway left and right to back up a bit" :)

Anyhow, healthy and hungry RTCs don't need to be asked twice to the dinner table. They inhale any and all offered. If they don't, they are either full or something is wrong or, rarely, they may fast a bit too for a week or two, although I think the fast has to do with something being wrong, for example from bad diet and the resulting poor digestion, as well as a plethora of other reasons.

It will change with time and size. Good luck, bro! Remember to update on the growth. I, for one, am quite intrigued by her initial explosive growth.
