What's up guys? I have posted quite a bit latley and finally got around to taking some pictures. Did a water change today and my rays were kind of active tonight so I figured why not. I wish they would brush the sand off of them more and show off their color but I worked with what I had.....

They are currently housed in my 125 gallon running on a Fluval FX5 with a Fluval E300 heater and 2 nano powerheads. I have my female retic sepereated from my male motoros currently becuse she keeps chasing them around the tank and stressing them out. Hopefully in a week or two I can take it out and she'll stop being a bully haha

On with the pictures. By the way, tank is in my room on the SECOND FLOOR!

Looks good bro. I see the divider is working out good for you to.
Hey, I posted this on your other thread and now seeing your tank, if you dont mind, like to give some help/advice. Id go get some airstones for yout tank. That may help. Im thining they were acting the way they were due to low air in the water..
Walmart has them cheap. Hope it helps..

Try pointing some of your returns toward the top of the tank to move the water on the top to help put o2 in the water. I heard that the air stones dont do it unless its really small microfine bubbles. Just my 2% on the oxygen. But they could use some. The canaster filters are great i use them but i also have an emperor 400 on my 120 also for extra filtration an o2. My fx5 kept sucking in the bubbles from the air stone so i took it out. (the air stone)

yea my FX5 output has a small current but not enough. I pointed my powerheads upwards now and they are cirrculating the water very well. rays are not very active, but are moving around going up the walls again going back to their normal behavior

I would put an air pump in there all the time. You have a single fx5 on the tank and will need more surface agitation. A lot of rays like the bubbles as well so if I were you I woudl add an air stone on each side of the egg crate barrier.

looken good, got a pair of motoros same size.
