my friend does the same thing,has an iridesent,swordtail,plecaustimus,bala shark,rainbow shark,albino rainbow shark,glass fish,6 neon tetras and about 6 other fish all in a 29 and he just wont listen to me oh yea and he has a columbian shark which will eventually need brackish water

wow, so he's gonna kill his RD's for just doing what comes normal to them? sounds like a standup guy. you should tell him to take them back because his RD will continue to kill

He doesn't care. about the fish. they are just decorations that just happen to be alive (kind of). When I mentioned that I viewed my fish as pets, and wanted to make sure they were healthy, he laughed.

if he catches a gar when we are fishing, he just kills it. doesn't care that it is an integral part of an ecosystem. he doesn't view fish as anything more worthy of life than a cockroach, but for some reason (because I got some) wants to keep them.

oh yeah, he only does waterchanges when the aquarium "needs it"
