I have 3 subs of SD I think.
1. M. Lippincotainus
2. M. Argentus
3. M. Hypsauchen

I would like to add Metynnis Fasciatus once the 220g is up and running.

you inspired me - got some units coming wednesday ?

looks like you got a monster tank - congrats!

Sorry, wish I could offer some advice but I can only wish you good luck and and I hope that all your SD's wind up being okay.

And I have to compliment your SD collection, you've got a good diverse group and all lookers too. I've always felt SD's are underappreciated so I'm glad to see some people are enjoying keeping these great fish. I've gotta couple of SD's myself, I've got some Metynnis lippincottianus, fasciatus and some Myleus Setiger.

Thank you. SD are actually a fish I never wanted. My start in the hobby was due to learning about planted aquariums and since most SD destroy plants they were placed on the naughty list. I ended up with a single spotted SD because a coworker was moving and she gave me all her fish. Once I had the one I decided I needed more and just haven't been able to say no since. It was also seeing F FJB 's planted tank.

It's amazing how empty the 260g feels with out the Redhooks in there.

Today is day 6 dosing paraguard the cist might be improving and the fin to. I will move the 4 healthy back to the 260g on Monday.
There is one spotted sd in the 220g with a bubble eye that I want to catch on Monday to move to hospital as well.

I am glad the red hooks are improving. What do you mean by a bubbly eye? Exophthalmy? Or an actual bubble?
He's a little derpy.PXL_20211212_042907417~2.jpgPXL_20211212_042921090~2.jpgPXL_20211212_042841977~2.jpg

I see. Weird it happened because you keep good water quality. Should get better on its own. Take care.
He's been that way for months.
