My small aro

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yes. I added chlorine..

Go to the a lfs and pickup a dechlorinator don't waste anymore time and get back with us. Also have your water tested become right now your aquarium will probably have to cycle again.

But my side, all the local fish store are closed..what should I do now? Should I change the water tank?

how to check water parameters? Or any other idea? Please. Should I changewater again?

Go to lfs pickup dechlorinator and take a sample of water to be tested asap. List your parameters when you get the results.

Please don't ask that person that misinformed you.

The salt should neutralize the chlorine some. Don't change water it may stress the Arowana more. How is the Arowana doing? Go to lfs as soon as one opens don't forget to take a sample of water to be tested.

Next time you have a question relating to fish or aquariums get answers here. Unfortunately most good reputable petstore's with knowledgeable personnel are gone. Big pet box stores are the worst imo.
Ok. Will update you once I have tested the water in aquarium. Can you please guide me? How should I clean my aquarium for my baby aro? Please share me some tips.

Sure once your aquarium has fully cycled maintaining it is not difficult. Right now just don't overfeed and remove uneaten food immediately.
Aquarium Maintenance my way but other members have there own routine.
1.Weekly water changes of 50% or more.
2.Rinse of biomedia in filter bi-weekly with water removed from the aquarium in a aquarium safe bucket.

3.Gravel vac and wipe aquarium walls with a aquarium approved sponge.
Most use a aquarium tool called a Python that will remove waste and water at the same time.
