I think that it is normal for the female to go pale once she spawns our BP does that all the time. There is no such thing as a wild caught SRT that I am aware of they are man made hybrids.

She's lovely. That's quite a big batch of eggs, as well. Looks like she'll be a good mom once she gets the chance.
Because that is two totally different states bro!!
One state is "full packed with eggs", and the other state is "just relieved all the eggs". Moods change the fish and those two moods there are totally opposite right?

This thread is a year old guys... lol... Thanks for the revival KAB... Wild caught??? lol Breed her with a green texas??? That is backtracking... I was on the hunt for KK at that time... Thanks for the comments tho. I was wondering why I was getting PM's for a fish I had thought no one saw in over a year!
