my submersible pump caught on fire!!!

im sorry i didnt mean it like that, its just if i heard that some where i would start laughing, mostly because i dont beleive them but you got pics and thats scary:eek:
 
I think there was air that was still trapped in the pump like most powerheads when u put em in water u have to shake all the bubbles out of them or it'll cause friction if it comes in contact with the motor which may had led to this.
 
So was there actual flames? or did it just smolder and melt?
 
epic fail!

glad everything is ok thats the imortant part.. theres nothing funny about yer house burning down....

however.....

tragedy averted... so thats super funny
