This is a good web site that I use sometimes to read a recipe just to get the basic idea before I make something for the first time.

ofcourse cooking at a restaurant is differn't than at home, you have to think about how your going to prepare something to order.

Today the temp there was -22 F., second coldest capital is Ottawa.

not at my restaurant but one of their Mongolian restaurant's "City Nomads" had a Horse Steak. I didn't get a chance to try it.
