wow itdoes have a kok. sux... and i dnt thinkits growing back bro... shouldnt have let the others take him out that bad..

I agree on both counts, sux, and it's not coming back. I was told by a marine biologist that if the base of the fin is gone or destroyed it will not recover. But it could live for a while though, some of my FH's never even use their tail to swim...

i know i know:cry: they where the same size and they live togeter like 5 of them lol and he dint have the kok when he was in the tank together with the other untill he got attack and be seperate lol i was at school and came back he was almost dead i blame it all on my self that why i said to my self i will keep this one no matter what lol

ok you should do my way. It gunna help you fish grows the tail normally. YOu have to put salt in your tank. Not salt that we're using, use natural salt. 100g=100liters of water

i had the same thing happen. when one of my females was about 3.5 inches, i put her in with a 4 inch jd. he made her look much worse than yours and she did a full recovery. it will take a while. mine took six weeks. now she is bigger than the jd so i should let her kick his *** to make it even. :naughty: all her fins were nubs and she had a big wound in her side. watch for fin fungus. use 1 tablespoon of kosher or aquarium salt per 5 gallons of tank. if you see fungus on the wounds, any ich cure will fix that. also do alot of water changes. i did 25% per day. it may not come back, but my fh's tail looked just like that. the only evidence of the beating she took is where the big wound on her scales was and you have to know it is there to see it.

just think there are people who cut the tails off there fh
there are people who do that but am not that type off people ,that are desperate to invent a new stain that they cut a tail off of a poor fry.they are sold in cali as a flowerheart lol.but mine is a accident

you sound like you are on the right track. mine got the fungus really bad and i thought that none of her fins were going to come back and she was going to die. her tail looked just as bad though. i wish that i had taken pics so i could show you. her tail looked like melted plastic. she has a normal tail now
