My Tanks Screwed...:(

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I was gonna say, it looks like a perfect fit for where it's at. -N

My biggest tank is 2' tall! Wow!

6 and a half foot long by 2 and a half foot wide by 36 inches tall

Oh man, you just got a tank with bad dimensions. You don't need one that tall. Either a foot longer or a foot wider (instead of a foot taller than normal like your tank is) would've made your setup look a lot bigger and more impressive. It's the tall tanks that don't look as big to the eye.

That's funny, I never looked at my tanks and thought they look smaller then they are......but yours doesn't look like 300 gal.

That's a cool tank. There are a lot of things you can do with it. I wouldn't want to retrieve something off the bottom, but I like that it is deeper than normal.
Now to make it look bigger, tall plants in the background and the foreground with filler throughout. A very large piece of driftwood would also make the tank look bigger. Tons of small fish will give the tank a larger feel.

Good luck. If you want to get rid of it, let me know.;)

Think about it like this. If it were only two feet tall that would free up twelve square feet to go elsewhere. Height is exactly your issue

Only two months ago you were positive this was a 260g. You've listed at least 5 different dimensions for this tank in numerous threads. My guess is either you don't own a tape measure or if you do you have no idea how to use it. Or it is possible that your just not happy with your 210g 72 x 24 x 30" tank and feel the need to lie in order to impress others.

i will take a piucture with a tape measure how bout that? im out of town at the momewnt but when i get back ill do that.
IT IS 6 and a half foot long by 2 and a half foot wide by 36 inches tall
