Maybe in the wild. Your post is the first time I've ever heard that Texas Cichlids could hit 14".

I've tried feeding him con fry and he ate a few but the rest grew to a nice size in his tank so I had to give them away. He's a pretty gentle Texas (odd I think?) I'm sure that will change as he gets larger.

I have the opposite problem, dump a dozen feeders in? He eats a dozen feeders. lol
