My third Aimara - In a comm tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Updates on the Curupira. Still my favorite wolf. Has not grown much but gotten thicker - like my previous black wolf.

Some pics taken just now. He has grown a considerable hump behind his head. :)

Found himself a large territory at the back of the tank and seldom comes to the front now. Was lucky to have him basking there moments ago.

That black wolf has a nice patchwork of color to it.

Thanks. :)

I noticed when he is basking, the 2 tone color will normally comes out. Will go on lighter brown shade when he swims around looking for food.

9 inch aimara in with school of neon tetras. 6 roselines and 6 exodons. No one has been eatten.and they said it couldnt be done:)

The hoplias scene is pretty dead in my country. Glad to be able to share them with you guys. :)

Always wanted to have a wolves comm and glad to be able to start one this year.

I feel that without the Aimara, things will be pretty stable down the road as the pecking order was established. Just have to wait and see whether this little guy will turn into a serial killer or not.

You'll find out within the next few months. Wolves ime seem to not fully settle in till a couple months down the road, they take a while to fully come around and allow you to see their actual behavior. Malas seem to settle in sighing the first month or two, but my curu took like 6 months to fully come around. Now he flares at me lol but he let me pet him in the tank when I'm doing maintenance.
