My thoughts on why a kid shouldn't build a monster tank (things to consider)

Here's my question for this topic to all of you. What if my patents and I had researched a monster(600 gallon pond) and we decided to get it fully aware of all the prices. My parents agree to pay the bills and agree to take care of it because my dad is also good with aquariums. If it was a blue fiberglass pond so no leaking or anything. Would this be most likely frowned upon in this community or looked highly of or nobody really cares(neutral).

I think its not about how people will view it (although i'm guessing some will be neutral, some will be happy), but more the fact if the parents are 100% onboard with the project, and realize exactly what is install for them, i.e. running costs long term, requirements for fish if their (son/daughter) doesn't live at home etc, then people would be more than happy to help and support a person to make sure they get the best help they can get...

But on the other hand, if people feel that a person is not taking peoples sound advise, and i guess you could say, purposely trying to push peoples buttons, then yes, things can go south pretty quick...

I've been on these boards for 14 years (p.org, pfish.net, mfk) and this subject has come up multiple times. I was always in amazement of the collections and dedication that some had (Mo, Ron Nielson, Mike - Arapaimag come to mind). My real enjoyment has always been the fish and never the status of tank size. There are some incredible projects that go on here (Streetlightz, pacumom, etc). I think I know most of the old school folks, and several have been to my house - Li showed up 10+ years ago to buy rays from my living room floor.

The point is that the forum should encourage proper techniques, warn against impending failures, and explore innovation in the hobby.

16 years old I HAVE NEVER SAY HOW OLD I AM.
Question me i know alot i have had tanks up to 225 native's 90 gal discus all at age 14 do not insult our level of knowledge because we are children i know far more than most adults i have met at lfs.And worked for everything i have this was a very good piece but it also seems very insulting and like you want a pat on the back for being above 18 years old.I have kept fish for around 10 solid years from 5 gallon hex tanks to 78 gal cubes ive done alot im not great or close to comparing to the greats on here but just trying to prove a point not all kids are idiots you should have made this for everybody not pointing it out to kids.
