a wood plane is the easiest way to remove the plastic trim. Harder to cut yourself, I think.

im not sure but i dont thank so. it being so small. i have a buddy who has a 10 gallon with a single clown with no skimmer. he does like 1 gallon water change twice a week. the clown been living happily for about 4 years now with no issues. The tank looks good without the top rim piece. Good job
