my treasure moments

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
well today was a most sucky day when i rolled into work this morning at 8 am the first thing i see is my 180 is super cloudy and the fish are all literally gasping hard and some of them are straight verticle and there is this humid smell in the air so of course i go up and immediately i can feel the heat radiating from my tank and my 75g beside it is in the same state

so i immediately went an got some ice from my ice machine an banged the tank with it

when i check the temp and what my heater is set at its at 33 degrees and i pretty sure it were not me that set it at that as a matter 4 of my 7 tanks here are way hot so needless to say im doin my very best to get them down if it was just my one tank gone hot i could very much attribute it to a screwed up heater but 4 of 7 tanks is a 57.14285% fail rate and there is no way that such is due to bad heater

i spent the last 4 months in a huge turf war with a ex business partner who would not honour his word an thought i was his stooge who supplied all the restaurant equip all the 16 hour days amongst other things so i cant say for sure but i have a sneaking thought that some idiot thought it would be cool to jack my heaters and cook my fish

so far i have what looks like one casualty one of my bleekeri small spots and im so sick to my stomach over it as i watch the other bleekeri try their best to get their mate to swim

i have these tanks here partly to attract people but more so cause im a fish nut and despite everything the ex partner tried to do we prevailed and reopened on jan 8 as of today my staff has strict instructions to hawk people who go near my tanks to make sure this dont happen ever again in short order im switchin all my heaters to visi therm stealth so they will be submerged

i do have some shots to post but i gotta spend the night makin sure that all is well with these tanks and that sucks cause i did my wc this past weekend and did the total clean on the filters and redid them with fresh media as well heres to hoping i dont loose more fish

i am so sorry to hear this.. are you saying someone did this as a revenge act? Let us know how it goes and i pray that it is good outcome..

well i cant put a name to anyone doing this just kinda funny that 4 tanks do the same thing at the same time

on the funny side at least i know my heaters have the capacity to make sure the whole tank is warm

well later on today ill post the pics i took last week of a few new treasure moments

as of this morning i spent 6 hours last night doin wc and various anti stress treatments to make sure that my fish know that im doin all i can to keep them alive

the one bleekeri is the only fish that seems to really be on its way out though im not gonna euthanize it im gonna do my best to get it to bounce back
