so today i got this email

Hi Brenda,

When I was walking to my class from College West last week, I stopped in at a restaurant called "All Souped Up" because I was drawn in by one of the aquariums that is situated at the back of the room. There are quite a number of aquariums in the restaurant and the fish are beautiful and varied.

I asked the owner if he would be willing to allow a class of twelve children to come and tour his restaurant, but especially to see the fish since there isn't another collection quite like it in Regina that isn't commercially driven.

He said that he would definitely be willing to work with us on something like this.

The restaurant is located near the U of R Bookstore, so a bus could drop everyone off in front of the Riddell Centre and it wouldn't be too long a hike to get to the restaurant.

You may already have planned spring or summer outings, but I thought this one would be pretty cool. I will check with the owner (whose name I failed to ask!) to see how long he plans to be open once the Winter semester is over (the exam period is until the end of April).

If he is open in the spring and summer sessions, it would be a nice outing for the kids. For Patrick, the owner suggested that Patrick would enjoy not only hearing the bubbles in the tank, but also the sound of the fish being fed.

Bonita

and this will be a day of great treasure for these are all special needs kids, it will be wonderful to see how they enjoy the lunch i give them and to see how they interact with the fish. I will make sure to post pics of that day when it happens

well today was a busy day for moments it would seem that the word of these tanks is spreading fast, which is why within the next month this place is gonna do a major transform in regards to the tank set up but that will be posted in my look at my world thread

here are some shots of some of the people who came in

this little dude was running like a mile a minute from tank to tank and was so excited but very well behaved i thought he was gonna explode

DSC06900.jpg

he even gave me this pose
DSC06901.jpg

there were about 3 groups of students who came in but did not have time to take any shots high school kids doing the university tour

the father in this group has been bitten by the mts bug lololololol, he heard of my restaurant and made his way here just to show his daughters the tanks and to say hi
the little guy showed me his handshakes on his way out and put his fist up and said knock fist cute little guy. I gave the father the web addie to this forum

DSC06902.jpg

so after school when my family came down to visit my daughter christianna put my gaddiella in the high chair by the johani tank and I could hear this crazy baby squeals so I looked over and saw this

DSC06905.jpg

DSC06906.jpg

DSC06908.jpg

they did not know i had my camera out lololol

so I go back to work and then i hear that squealing even louder. so I am thinking man she must be loving my johani, I look over and gaddiella has been moved over to the 75g frontosa tank

I wonder which of my girls is gonna have the heaviest imprint to love fish, one guess
