Don't be surprised if your tig vomits out the shrimp. Any thing it can't digest, it will vomit out.

Just keep the water clean and keep an eye on him. If there are no abnormalities on the skin (ulcers, ick, or red patches), or any abnormal behaviors, then just give it clean water and wait it out.

Pick up some "Sinking Carnivore Pellets" by Hikari to feed him in a few days.

It might take a while for some tigs to take pellets (mine took it right away), but it will be well worth it in the long run.

man i think my tigrinus have red patches on their gills. i am going to rid of frontosas soon.... tomorrow i am going to move my rtc into 2ft fishtank. my tig will be stay in same tank.

tomorrow i am going to get hikari sinking carnivore. i will update soon. cheers mate
 
I starved my tigs when they first got in for first 2 days. 3rd day they went crazy for blackworms and I also feed every other day. Red patches on the gills on young tigs is normal I think.

Dump the RTC they are cheap and very easy to get in the UK for as little as £30 if you won't to risk a expencive tig for the sake of a £30 RTC that's up to you

But you have had the advice I sent you via pm it's up to you if you take it but if you don't want to listen to the advice given don't ask

Ask again if you have removed the RTC stopped feed sea foods and the tig has ate for 2 weeks

ok i am going to rid of frontosas soon. my rtc will be in another tank. my tig will be in same tank. is that ok? tomorrow i am going to get hikari sinking :)

Red gill plates for young tigs are pretty normal.

How long has your tank been up and running? I don't know if it's the photos, but it looks a little cloudy, like it is going through cycling.

I'd listen to T1KARMANN about the removing the RTC and Frontosa's. It'd be the best way to make sure you tig has the best living environment and water quality. It will help it settle in.

I am currently experimenting by keeping my tig with my discus' and there are no problems as off yet.

I plan to keep another one in my Frontosa tank a little later down the road in I can get a hold of another one.

its not cloudy water. i took a few pictures from my phone which is very bad quality sorry guys.

yes i am going to sort it out today evening. i will let you know soon
 
finally i got hikari sinking pellets. i gave two pellets to my tigrinus. he was like try to get it but he couldnt get it.

hopefully i will try again before i go to bed.
 
hi guys,

i can see something wrong with my tigrinus today.... he is swimming around the tank like up, down and sometime he do some flip around. i can see all his fins are red vessel lines. i was so pissed now. i am getting eheim filter today

please help

any suggestions on my tig? is he stress now or is he going to die soon?
