Every once in a while you can add pinch of epsom salt to food being soaked. Cleans digestive tract
Well update time, although primarily focusing on what I feel will end up being my pair.
Maaaaaaaaaaan, so one of my guys is really turning out to be my favorite. Strangely NOT the biggest in the group but is clearly the dominant fish. He has marked out one side as a make shift territory and chases the other umbee's when they enter. Although I will note this doesn't stop them from entering. They do it all the time, and he gets extremely mad and blue in the face.
The only umbee that he "tolerates" in his side is one of the medium umbee's that I suspect is female. The one I mentioned before that turns light tan/yellow. The other bigger guys are starting to show wear and tare, I really hope the female starts showing herself fairly soon so I can start re homing.
This is my little ball of attitude, the one That has the best personality of the group.
A little different lighting, bit blurry but it shows closer to his colors.
This is the one I'm thinking is female, he also seems to be the friendliest with this one. Although I wouldn't call them a pair.

And even my convicts decided they wanted to make an appearance

Covetous I love it man!! He is a future stud for sure, I'm very excited for you! if i wasn't leaving for college in a year and a half, I'd definetely have an umbee pair.

Sadly that cannot happen. Also no way my parents keep any of my tanks while im gone lmao, so my festae will be going in the next 2 years. But that will be dealt with when the time comes
I've been there man, lost a 150 salt talk when I went to Costa Rica for a year. Because I just didn't have anyone to upkeep it for me so I had to move it to my dad's. And we transferred it to fresh. I actually haven't been back to salt since.
Although I have alittle low tech nano I'm working on.
Oh man, overnight regime change. My guy has fallen from the top dog of the pack. He is now hiding with torn fins. And dark in color while the largest is out and about. Looks like it's time for me to start thinning abit. I enjoy my guys personality and colors better then the largest ones. I may try to rehome three of the "males" or what I think are males. And that will leave me with one "male" and two "females" we shall see hopefully it won't backfire.
