i miss my umbee- yours look great. my dumb ass buddy put some crazy bright led ufo light on my tank for an hour. was trying to say it would be good for my plants- it stressed out my umbee an killed him
thanks for the nice comments, i'll have some of the babies for sale soon. their about a half an inch right now. they were born around 10/08/10 and are in a 40 long right now. have around 125 of them . 40 are spoken for. i'll get some pics of the babies. thanks again.

Do you find you males can harass the females n bite them?
My 10 inch male is a randy sod, always up for it. I just hope he doesn't really pish her off and she kills him!? My Festae female did that......

both males are very aggresive. on occasion you will see them hit the females so hard they knock scales off and i kid you not they eat the scales. crazy. my opinion they like the females in one spot and realy dont like them moving alot.they chase them away when feeding or any close movement by the tanks. like it has to be their way.
