This really is a pity, they are great although they have not reached their full size but I can understand the need for controlling their invasive character
I understand correctly, if you catch an intrusive or 'bad' fish you have to kill it?
Here in Australia, if no one see's you, no harm done. Except to the aquatic habitat were it'll live to be caught another day. Plus, who can ID a fish a block away?
Oddly, my lfs had some Clarias macrocephalus for sale as "channel catfish". I didn't say anything, 'cause someday I might have a tank big enough to buy one, and by then, the ones they are selling today might end up on craigslist.
