  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
The brokos are looking good. The one that has been on the pellets is much larger and better looking then the other at this point.

Thanks. Maybe ill pick an sp a week and do a photo shoot on each. Post them here that way the start to adult run is here. Also the sp a week rough rule will give time for development. Of course if I go down and there is one being extra photogenic ill toss it in.

Came home to this today....lol

This Kel was in the 75gal next to the 40br when I left this morning. He went on a slip and slide tube ride through the 1.5" pvc overflow conecting the 2 tanks at some point. I have to make up a screen for it...lol

Also moved the dats to those tanks as I got a tig and the bigger dat was being agressive toward it. I then after finding the Kel in the other tank moved the tiger sd to that tank to help clean overflow pellets amd serve as distractors for the jar until I get the screen made just in case. The jar is actually about 2" bigger then the Kel it was just a background foreground illusion of size to the Kel.

I think ill start the species focused updates mid week and roll that schedule. Still might have a few more moves to make before then.

I really like Dats but they can be major buttheads, super aggressive towards other fish even amongst themselves. They need timeouts on occasiono_O

Thanks.

Yeah the dats were an impulse buy. I like them but I don't have room for nomadic random aggression.

Side note and a premidweek update pic moved the larger broko to the main group today. About 4" on it now.

Also while sitting back from the tank tossing massive chunks into the main group the xingu that has not eaten much of anything took a massivore chunk as it hit the water. Gonna try it again with fillets in a few mins

Your broko is a damn stunner dark green body with all that marbling, I am happy I picked up two from Wes couldn't pass on these guys.

Thanks. I am thinking of getting more. I am so glad to see how this guy is looking. The other one hasnt started to change much. It also wont eat anything other then bloodworms yet. This bigger one is the one that took pelets outta the bag. It eats everything I have tossed in with gusto.

The xingu took some fillets on the fall from the tossing. Not going crazy yet but at least starting.

Tig has started eating fillets so I cant wait to add that to the group as well.

Put a cap and drilled holes to make a screen for the overflow.

One bad note I have been dealing with. My 180gal brace broke a while ago. Been trying to work out a "quick fix". Got nothing. So I ordered a .5" same sized brace today. Once that comes in I get to try and fix it. All the while there is a few large fish in the tank.

Highs and lows almost daily in this game. Getting it all worked out though. Might pick up a 125 or another 180 to move the bass to next. Got a large gar and achara in the 180 I have. Kinda want to move them sooner then they would be able to with those 2 in my current setup.
