wow sounds like all you guys dont get alot of respect for every ones hobby my parents let me have 1 80 gallon 1 55 1 40 gallon tall and 3 10gallons even my cousines got monster fish tanks he has aros and rtc he got me in the hobby in first place

Yea o know I set up a 120gal for her and she wanted to fill it with goldfish I eventually fed the goldfish to my bass and turned it into my community cichlids tank

Wow you're a dick. My wife's tank is goldfish, and it kinda rocks...and keeps her from messing with my angels. I am a little upset that her fish are bigger than mine currently, but I'm fixing that next month with a nice female jag...

The key is to get the fish out of the living area and into the basement, garage or some other location that won't be a constant irritant to your wife/gf.

She'll just switch her complaints from the fish tanks to why you're always in the basement/garage...

Personally i dont like goldfish they are very dirty fish. I wouldnt have feed hers to my other fish if she would have payed any attention to them. I only seen here look at the tank maybe 5 times in the whole 6 months of setting the tank up. I figured it was wasting a tank and there were several fish i wanted and it turen out to be the perfect spot for them.

Iv been told I'm a fish freak many times, my wife has threatened to throw me out, but the funny part is I owned the house before we were married and it's in the prenuptial so there's nothing she can do

I used to have 12 tanks running. No i only have two...with a 350 gallon stock tank on the way. My gf thinks im crazy for wanted to spend $200 on a kelberi pbass....lol
