Myth Or Truth??

Nice to see Monster gourami with the Aro and Red tail. I get tired of seeing the little pink Kissing gouramis in the store but these are nice. Great color on the jar.

with out a pic of the infamous ARTC at 14" this thread is just over rated :grinno: j/k
BTW the RTGGs looked great in your "SIMPLE ARO COMM", not that the they don't look good here .

common dude a nice pic of the wyckioides is much in need

Rallysman's jar allows only the GG in his tank

my jar at 13" tolerates cats without much trouble have 5 growing cats 2xRTCs and 2xTSNs recently had added a smaller TSN and had no problem

That's a very shy cat in there. It's always hidding in the darkest corner you can find in there.:irked:

yeah i know how shy they are, they are hiding or are zipping around in the tank from one hiding place to another
i myself own one
grew him up from 1.5" to 5"+ and the fellow has been a killer till now
would want to keep him with my 13"+ jar once my other cats move out
and one more question
how do you feed the ARTC i mean you got a jar and a RTC both of which are hogs in my experience, so when does the ARTC gets the chance to eat or does he come out during feeding time

Funny story here:)

22" Jardini, 20" marbled Pim, 14" giant gourami, 300g. tank.

All is well for quite a while, then, one night, the Jardini beat the living hell out of everything in the tank. Apparently he was bored, so he made the other fish bloody.

Moral of the story:

Don't trust the jardini if it's working short term;)

I tend to agree with Rally...

As said already ( in the Jar sticky ) I may have found that the FRT is a possibile companion for a mean Jar....Now I 've added a Papyrocranus Afer of the like size, and they respect each other as I've never seen..

My other Jar lives with a lot of other aro's with nary a problem....
