Name This Fish

I always check stuff out here but never had a question so i didnt make an account until recently. Anyways I found this fish at a LFS and didnt know what it was. Some sort of flowerhorn but i think it goes a little bit deeper than that. I was wondering if anybody could either help describe what the fish is or what fish its made up of. I was thinking maybe some green terror or Jack dempsey or even possibly some texas cichlid down the line. Ive never came across a fish like this.

Sorry for the bad photos but its with my old phone and he just wouldnt stop moving. Hes got some big chompers but couldnt get a good pic. I asked the manager and he wanted $120 for him. I think its just a bit to much in this fishy case.

might have some texas/carpintis in it, but I don't think it is anything unusual. $120 is ridiculous, to me at least.

I thought the fish was way overpriced. That store is always overpriced with fish tho. Also wanted $180 for 10-12 inch female dovii. ridicilous. Anybody know how to talk this asian down?

If it isn't a chain store, make him an offer. IMO, you could get a "real" cichlid for a cheaper price which would look better too. What size tank would he be going in? I could recommend a better cichlid.

he will be going into a 130 but itd be a bit easier having him already a decent size so i dont have to grow him out like im already doing with a pbass
