I do not see, according to recent ( and understandable ) policies, why this thread, whose object is far worse, far more base, than religion or politics or issues of the sort, should be allowed to go on...

To me, if you are a convicted felon and obviously people on death row are, your constitutional rights, like the 8th amendment should be thrown out.
Some are anyway such as the second amendment for convicted felons who are released. I am confused as to why it is ok to deny a convicted felon certain rights and not others?!

When I become President, all that are facing the death penalty will be executed in the same manner they killed thier victims. None of this painless death baloney

Because an organized society, a so called civilized society, should not have the right to kill human beings. and because it is awfull to see "normal" people discussing the pros and cons of several possible methods of killing...
and because, if on this site people are supposed to refrain from so called hot topics ( due to the lack of civility of some who do not know how to have a debate ), they also should refrain from debating whether it is the electric chair or the injectionor whatever.
We are, after all, discussing the killing of human beings in a fish forum.
