I catch the same prawns!

they look really good when you put them in a tropical marine tank. the colours really light up. and they grow stupid quick. mine doubled in size in about 2 months. gonna get some more when the weather warms up a little more.

hmmm it seems this thread wont die... maybe its because im polite and always reply to people...

Hey, pics are looking good. Just came back to this thread after a few weeks - glad to see its still going! Suprised the natives are doing so well in a trop tank, but I suppose it gets pretty hot in a rock pool in summer so they must be able to handle it.

all the animals i kept can be found in the med, so i guess tropical temperatures are no problem for them.

and ive heard of rockpools hitting 25 degrees C, and my tanks are all at 24.

getting a big tank in april/may hopefully. either a 75 uk gal or 100 uk gal for my tropical marine stuff. so i'll have the 3ft going spare. if i can find a space for it, and if the missus can be persuaded, i may get more this summer for it. if not i'll use the 10 gal again. gettin a better filter for it though... the last one drove me crazy. noisy as feck.
