Native predators

What do you guys think the best native predator for an aquarium is, I pretty far of from setting up a tank and wanted some idea of what I have as far as options of native predators.

all depends on tank size. Tons and tons of possibilities.

Pickerel are great tank fish and awesome predators. Bowfin are also a good option.

Plenty of micro predatory natives too.
Mudminnows
Redfin/Grass Pickerel
Scuplins
Madtoms/Stonecats
Pike livebearer
Studfish
Mummichog
Pygmy Sunfish
Pirate Perch
Smaller species of black bass such as Redeye Bass
Creek Chub and Fallfish

Eh....if I have to choose between a big goldfish and a walleye, I would choose a goldfish over a walleye. The walleye are cool but they are boring aquarium fish and it just either hide or don't move till dark time or feeding time.

What about yellow bass?

Yellow bass? What is it? Pics? I would vote for bowfin. Or northern pike. But you'd need a large tank for those species
