is this a good list for a native tank? give your opinion.

stocking list:

yellow perch

redfin pickerel

black crappie

green sunfish

rock bass

How big is the tank?

Green sunfish and rock bass are very aggressive feeders, and the sunfish are territorial as well. The other fish are less aggressive, and pickerel are positively shy. I would drop the pickerel- they do best in a species tank. The rest may be OK together in a larger tank. If anything the sunfish may need to be taken out; I think rock bass, crappie, and perch should be pretty well compatible.

i can get any tank to fit them. and thanks for the info.

does anyone know where i can get any of these???

The trading dock at http://forum.nanfa.org/ is also a good place to pick up fish. Be sure to introduce yourself on the forum and maybe ask a few questions before posting a want ad.

Your state fish and wildlife folks may be able to tell you about licensed gamefish dealers in your state as well. You may need to go through them for crappie.

Who said sunfish weren't native? :screwy: They're actually endemic to North America. Can't get much more native than that.
