Good Luck bro! Im Army and been through some hellish training... however even the guys I train with said some horrible things about Seals training. 1 thing I will have you be prepared for is to be purposely drowned... You will black out... you will be fine though.

Yeah I def already heard about the drowning part....lol. As a matter of fact someone who went through it said it happens 3 times. I also heard some other disturbing things....I would hope they arent true but who knows....the Seal training is so secretive u dont really know wat to expect. I just try to keep a clear mind and not worry to much about those things cuz I know they're coming.

I got great respect for someone going into the armed services let alone SEALS.. I've been in the Navy for 19 years now and my CO is a SEAL.. He's told me stories that blow my mind. Good luck and GO NAVY !!

THANK YOU...DEF NERVOUS....BUT DONT HAVE ANY SECOND THOUGHTS...IT IS WAT IT IS.......

i can give a little advice-just remember that during some of the training DONT PANIC. they want you to-and they WILL expect you to lose your sh**, so just keep in your head that they will not let you die, and if you can think clearly you can think your way out of the situation.

your muscle mass will help you, and keep you warmer during the water training but i also hope you have been working on some endurance cardio work- you will need to be able to run some insanely looong distances in shorts and boots. i ALWAYS saw SEALS running around virginia beach when i was stationed there.. you MUST be a good runner-quick, but able to go forever.

speaking of running.. i encourage you to have hard, caloused feet. you will need some hard, thick heels. youll be running in wet boots on purpose-and if your feet are nice and tender and soft you will be a bloody mess. when i was training with the marines as a combat medic for them you should have seen our feet-on the forced marches you feel the blisters pop and your foot sliding in blood in your boots...

so keep some jacked up looking feet-trust me, youll thank me later. also a cloth called "moleskin" is a definate must on the blisters.. if you get problems with your feet don't hesitate to see a corpsman who can hook you up...and to chime in my old corpsman ways im going to tell you to drink plenty of water-so that your urine is a light straw color. if your urine is clear you are drinking too much water, which is detremental and can kill you. stay away from alcohol while going thru this-its not worth the pain the next day.

you can do this-alot of the seals drop out not for lack of wanting it, but they are just sheerly exhausted and fried.. just keep in mind that its not forever-best of luck to you!
