Lebron next. The thing that Pierce DOES have that puts him above the rest is his ability to perform against anyone, despite his lack of ability in comparison. Let's face it, he's awkward as hell, but he puts it all out. I would like to point out that whatever players of that caliber rank in the NBA, is also what they would rank in the world. If you're top 25 in the NBA, you're top 25 in the world, period.

He's decent, deffinately not on the same level as CP3, Nash or even Kidd as a pointgaurd. He might become as good as they are, but he's not that good. Not to mention how goofy he looks.

You put CP3, Nash or Kidd into Utah's system instead of Deron and they'd preform better, I'd bet on it
.He may be a little stronger but Nash still has his crazy circus finishing shots, Kidd is JUST as strong if not STRONGER and he's got a helluva lot more mental toughness...and Paul we just know is ahead of Deron.
Don't get me wrong, I'd probably throw him PG wise 4th or 5th at least, but he IS NOT ahead of any one of the three.
Deron is not as good as Paul, as my list would show, but he is better than Nash and Kidd. Nash may have better circus shots, but he is not as consistent of a scorer, and he is probably the worst defender in the league. The Suns take him off the floor at the end of games because he is a liability. Kidd also is not good on D. His shot may be a little better, but Deron is far better at driving and finishing.

I'll agree he can probably get buckets easier, but it seems he only goes to his post moves occasionally. With his attitude to scoring you might aswell have arenas or iverson. Hell Monta Ellis is probably better when melo decides to settle for outside crap.
And about Deron being better. Nash may be a huge liability on deffense, but the guy can run like the wind and pass far better then deron. He's been in the league so long that he's got the moves and knowhow that i don't think there should be a question to who is better RIGHT NOW. Once Deron gets a little better which he OBVIOUSLY will, he will be up there, but right now nash and kidd get the nod from me.
Also are you kidding me? Kidd plays hard nose deffense! He isn't afraid of contact at all and is much better at deffending driving guards much better then Deron.
Eventually it'll probably be Paul and Williams as the top 2 points in the league (unless some other rookie develops, hint ROSE, hint BAYLESS, hint AGUSTINE)
