Melo is very good in the post, but how many times do you see him try to be flashy like arenas or iverson? A whole lot! I'll agree he can probably get buckets easier, but it seems he only goes to his post moves occasionally. With his attitude to scoring you might aswell have arenas or iverson. Hell Monta Ellis is probably better when melo decides to settle for outside crap.

And about Deron being better. Nash may be a huge liability on deffense, but the guy can run like the wind and pass far better then deron. He's been in the league so long that he's got the moves and knowhow that i don't think there should be a question to who is better RIGHT NOW. Once Deron gets a little better which he OBVIOUSLY will, he will be up there, but right now nash and kidd get the nod from me.

Also are you kidding me? Kidd plays hard nose deffense! He isn't afraid of contact at all and is much better at deffending driving guards much better then Deron.

Eventually it'll probably be Paul and Williams as the top 2 points in the league (unless some other rookie develops, hint ROSE, hint BAYLESS, hint AGUSTINE)

The Turkey game dissapointed me....

I'll still take Melo, when it comes down to it and you need a bucket, it is easier for him to get it.

Also, I think that right now Deron is better than Nash. Nash is the most over-rated player in the league. I'm sorry but anybody who has to be taken out at the end of games, can't be in the top 5 at their posistion. Just my opinion. As far as Kidd goes, it might be a tie, but I would take Deron's scoring over Kidd's vision if I had to pick.

Another roll of another sub-par team.

Wade has 19 points but its really Howard who set the tone of the whole game.

I'm not sure if it's better for them to be dominating these teams, or if they need some close ones.
I think they are at the point where they respect their competition now, and they are just looking to beat teams up. And I'm cool with that. :grinno:

Yes its fun watching and I'd be very disappointed if they didn't just straight up murder all of these kind of sucky teams, but once can only wonder how much longer its going to be until there will be no more 40 point victories and they'll actually have to grind it out.

Thats how it's been the last few years, so I hope they keep it fresh in their head, and use it as fuel to keep pounding these teams.

Josh Smith signed a 58 million offer sheet today with Memphis. The Hawks have 7 days to match.
This could actually be good for the Pistons. If the Hawks don't want to pay it, we can tell them to accept the offer, and then we'll do a sign and trade. Either they lose him, pay him, or get players back, and pay less money. Let's see what happens...

I agree it's a great move, but my point is, just because they matched doesn't mean he will stay a Hawk. If they don't want to pay him, they can do a sign and trade now.
