ow nooo, sorry apparently the file I uploaded from my phone crashed, pls ignore this thread, mod pls delete this thread, thanks again

I see the pics. I can't make out what these are. Capa versus fila is hard enough with great pics (for me). Maybe fugupuff and Co can tell.

I see the pics, too. I can't even hazard a guess as to which species that is from the pics. Like TBTB said, you need pro level photographs to tell them apart.

yeah, my initial guess was capapretum, ever since filamentosum is hard to come by, and the eyes were also bigger on the pic. I was gonna buy them, the price was reasonable cheap for filamentosum, then for a second though, i better not. I was asking for better pics, but the seller wont give me anymore.

How big are they? They look already to be of a very decent size. Were there four?

Seems unusual to be selling such large fish in numbers. Unusual for the US. Looks like this is not uncommon in Asia. I guess because shipping $$ is huge for big fishes and the market is small while they are farmed/grown in SE Asia anyway and they can be kept outdoors there.

The color DOES seem to be more in line with what you'd expect from a fila as opposed to a cap. I really wish we could get some better pics. I'd like to see what Wes has to say on this.

from the pics it's very hard to tell but i'm leaning towards fila viktor mentioned the breeding of large fish which makes me wonder if fila's have actually been breed in asia before I did some digging and came up with nothing definitive but i'm terrible at this internet thing so maybe someone else could find something sorry op got slightly off topic there
