I wouldn't buy a tank from a company that wasn't insured...or that made me sign away my rights to collect damages if something happened. I'm a very fair person, and I have no interest in suing anyone if it's not warranted. But, if I brought home a tank, and within a week or two that tank dumped it's contents on my floor (cracked, leaked, the stand snapped, etc) yes I would look for compensation. Considering the amount of both structural and cosmetic damage even 20g can cause...I would seriously look into insurance. There is always the chance that you might not wait just long enough for the silicone to dry, or you forgot a nail, or whatever...things happen, and you should really be covered. I'm only saying this to protect you, I know insurance is a PITA, but you really don't want to wind up being sued for everything you have.
