Im in Houston too; this sucks so bad. I hope my fish make it. DON'T DO ANY WATER CHANGES AS THE WATER HERE HAS BEEN COMPROMISED AND IS NOT FIT FOR CONSUMPTION. Your fish won't be able to deal with the extremely poor water quality. You're better with what you have in the tank in my opinion. Good luck.
 
Starve them. Youcan also take a pitcher of water every now and again from the tank and pour it back in from a foot or so high to agitate the water.
