ps3 is alright, online play is free, but ps3 doesnt have halo 3 so thats why i got my 360... trust me its worth it
if i had a second chance to buy a next gen(well current gen) system i dont think it would be the xbox 360 again. they break down, im really not that impressed with the graphics compared to my pc(and its a laptop lol). arcade games are rediculously overpriced.
xbox live is bad, you have to pay for it, the service is shotty at certain times of the year, its slow, you cant choose servers(atleast the games i play wont). your basically paying for preteens to shout sexual and racial slurs at you.
Go with the xbox 360 eliet its faster doesnt have as many problems get a external fan and 2 wierless coltrolers Fall out 3 is great left for dead is fun but more online game halo is ok i like over lord is fun not a first person shooter.

Fall out 3 is the best game for your buch its a 59 1/2 hour game my be longer with all the add on packs far cry 2 fun fun fun same long first person shoter there all good games.
Xboxs is the way to go dont buy a ps3 thay are so boring the controlers brake all the time junk haha.only thing ps3 has is rachet and clank god of war.

iono the fan voids the warrenty for your xbox. ive never had any issue with mine over heating, just make sure the vents arent blocked
